Lots has been going on lately in the Taylor home. Last week Chris and I took a group of students white water rafting in Leavenworth. It was a blast! Chris had never been before along with many of the students. We took a three hour trip down the ice cold Wenatchee river. There was a bbq waiting at the end of the trip! It was a great time of fun and fellowship with the students. This past Saturday Chris and I went for a hike at Wallace Falls. It was a 5.5 mile round trip hike with 4 beautiful waterfalls. We have LOVED getting to explore so much of our Lord's creation. We also recently had the privelage of having dinner with some dear friends from Texas. The Hays family was in Seattle vacationing and we were able to meet them for some fantastic seafood. Chris has still been teaching on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Promotion Sunday is September 19th and things will be super busy around here as that transition is taking place. Mrs Debi (Chris' mom) will be coming in town in about a week! We are really looking forward to her visit. We have many many fun things planned. There have been lots of other little things going on from weddings, pool parties, movies etc. We are still loving Washington and know this is where the Lord has placed us. A good friend is getting married Friday and we are excited to celebrate with them! In other great news... Tonight we get our KITTEN!! I cant wait! He will be such a fun addition to our family. Last week I had my first job interview here. I should know something by the end of next week. Please be in prayer for that situation. I was also accepted to Shorline Community College. I will only be taking one class this semester due to out of state tuition costs. I think Chris is more excited than I am about the school news. Thanks so much for keeping up with our adventures! Pictures of our sweet kitty Lewis are coming soon!
