Texas
Clark and I flew to Texas about 20 minutes before the Albania team headed off. Not only was it my first time to ever travel alone, but throw a baby in the mix and it makes for one nervous momma! Clark did great through the airport and on each flight (thank you Lord)! My mom was waiting at the gate when we arrived, and Clark was so excited to see her that he blew out his diaper right away! The first few days were pretty restful and consisted primarily of getting the little guy adjusted to the time zone and new environment. Clark got to meet his Uncle Jarrad, cousins Stuart and Connor, great uncle Kelley, great Aunt Joy, great uncle Rusty and Pop for the first time! It was a blast having him around so much family! I got some "me time" as well while Dodie was on baby duty. Ramsi and Lauren (my besties from Arkansas) came down to stay with me and meet Clark as well. We did a little shopping and of course had to eat a Babes! Overall it was a great trip but we sure missed Chris! Oh and of course Clark came home with lots of UT (for daddy) and LSU (for mommy) gear to support his favorite teams!

Here are a few pics from Chris' trip to Albania. Stay tuned for an updated post with his stories from the trip!
Since we have been home:
Chris got a few days off to spend with Clark and me just resting and catching up. Clark had his 2 month check up and is growing and developing right on schedule! Please be praying for our munchkin as he has just come down with his first cold. Chris is back at work and things are full speed ahead as we prepare for the fall and promotion Sunday. I will be going back to work (only on Tuesdays) in a few weeks but Clark will be able to join me and hang out in the nursery! Our veggies are doing well and we are having fresh salad from our garden tonight!
Life lately:
Clark Andrew Taylor is 2 months old! Smiling, eating SO much, reaching for things and grasping toys, attempting to hold his bottles, and making us laugh non stop!
