Chris and I just returned from Hawaii for our 2 year anniversary!! We were blessed to be able to stay at a home specifically for ordained pastors and their families. We had a blast!! This will be more like a photo blog considering the pictures tell the stories of the trip much better than words! Enjoy!

We stayed at Brewster Rest Haven. Here are some pictures of the place and the view from our balcony!

My favorite part was definately swimming with the turtles!

Just lounging around watching some duck dynasty

Sunset stroll

This is a great look-out for watching the whales! Unfortunately we missed the season by 2 weeks.

Snorkel trip to Molokini Crater! A shark swam right below us!!

We went to a Luau for our 2 year anniversary. The fire dancers were AMAZING

Ulua Beach

The road to Hana was one of Chris' favorite things. I hated it. It was an extremely winding and narrow road. There were some very beautiful sights along the way. This first one is the "seven sacred pools." It is a series of 7 waterfalls into 7 clear pools. Absolutely grand!!

Black Sand Beach

Sunday Morning worship at Calvary Chapel. What a cool experience to worship with fellow believers in Maui

He had NO idea the shark was behind him when I took the photo!

Mini Golf

We had a FABULOUS vacation and are now looking forward to everthing the summer holds with the youth group! We have weekend retreats for the guys and gals this weekend, followed by summer camp, mission trips, and LOTS more! As always, thanks for your continued prayers and support!

  1. My husband is a pastor also and I just sent my request to Brewster Rest Haven today. I had a couple of questions and wondered if you would email me with info such as how long in advance you requested, etc. Blessings, Jennifer Murphy-djjamurphy@hotmail.com

  2. I really enjoyed your info/pics. My husband and I just returned from our visit on Maui, staying at BRH. It is a wonderful place with great rates, etc. They recently remodelled and did a wonderful job.

  3. We wished we would have known that there were items to borrow such as picnic mats & coolers, bikes, fins, etc. Also, phone numbers and email for communication purposes would be helpful.
