May has been the busiest month of all for the Taylor Clan. Chris had an event every weekend this month! EstroFest and DudeFest came first... two simultaneous events at seperate locations (one for boys and one for girls, obviously). I was with the ladies group at Warm Beach camp where they stayed in rustic little cabins. We spent the weekend talking about some very important issues in today's world and what scripture has to say about them. The boys headed to Ocras Island for some tent camping and hiking and discussed what it looks like to be a "brother in Christ" to one another. Overall it was a fantastic weekend on both ends!
Next came a service outreach day for the middle school and high school combined. I stayed home for that one since 9 months pregnant and yard work don't mix well. Oh, did I mention Chris got pneumonia at the boys event?! ...and my mom was in town! Pregnancy brain at its finest. Chris came down with pretty bad pneumonia the day after DudeFest and was layed up on the couch surrounded by a cloud of disinfectant spray for several days while my wonderful mommy took care of us both and the house work! What a woman! She also helped me finish Clark's nursery. We are now 100% ready for his arrival!
...back to the service day... Chris was feeling well enough to go and "supervise" so I let him. They had a great turn out of kids to serve!
The following day some dear friends of mine threw a baby shower in honor of baby Clark. I was so blessed :)! What an all around great weekend!
Next was the senior outing. Chris and I took the majority of the seniors to a mariners game and to eat at Beth's cafe (a spot ranked in the top 10 diners in the US). Mariners won and dinner was delicious!
Then came the senior dinner, western style, with some delicious BBQ! Chris also had the honor of preaching all three main services that weekend! He covered the entire book of Jonah for a mission emphasis Sunday and I must say, did an excellent job! I will post the link to that sermon soon. I think that about covers the events for youth in May!
I celebrated my 25th birthday on May 24th. The last birthday as a family of 2! Chris took me to breakfast with great friends, shopping, to get a pedicure, and out to dinner! Oh and spoiled me with a table full of goodies! It was a fabulous birthday!

We are so thankful to say that our precious son has consistently had good reports at all appointments. Two weeks ago the doctor bumped up his due date to June 9th (can I get an Amen)! If he decides to hang around a little longer, I will be induced on June 16th. This baby is coming soon folks! We are ao appreciative of your continued prayers and support! I have been so blessed by the many of you that have asked about bringing us meals in those first few weeks after his birth so I signed up for meal baby to make that a bit easier. Lewis and Silas are loving that the sun is coming out more and more often and are getting very suspicious of my growing belly. They don't know what's about to hit them!
Stay tunned for the next post announcing our sons arrival!
