Winter Retreat //

The Taylors are finally beginning to feel rested after a long, fun, rewarding weekend with our high school students. ASM went to The Firs retreat center for the long weekend to spend some time in The word, fellowship with friends, and spend time with leaders. Pastor Jeff Garner from our church back home taught a powerful series through the book of Philippians and our Kids were challenged and convicted! At the end of the weekend there were several first time decisions and rededications made for our Lord! Overall it was an incredible weekend! I must take a second and brag on Chris. Even though he was busy planning and overseeing the winter retreat (which began on Valentines day) he still made a point to masks sure I felt special with a sweet card, beautiful flowers, and a new charm for my bracelet! What a great man The Lord has blessed me with :)

Clark had a check up the day before we left and we are so blessed and pleased to say that all is still as it should be. We are 6 months in and anxiously awaiting the arival of our precious little one! We still have a long way to go with nursery prep and gathering the many things needed with welcoming a baby but are so excited that The Lord has given us this opportunity!

We are looking forward to many upcoming trips, including: Boston and Texas together and Chris heading to a conference in Flordia. Stay tuned for more updates!

Ways to be praying for us //
1) sickness has struck both of us in the form of a cold. Please pray for fast recovery and renewed energy
2) we would ask that you pray for our students that made decisions this weekend. They will have many challenges to face as they enter the real world again as new believers. We are getting them plugged in and pray that they persevere!
3) continued prayer for baby Clark's growth and development!

The Taylor 3 lately

Well today is 23 weeks with baby Clark! We can't believe the 6 month mark is only 1 week away! Clark is still growing and developing as he should. Our next check up will be this Thursday. As many of you know, I spent a little time in the hospital since our last post. I came down with some sort of stomach virus and was unable to keep any fluids or food down. The main concern was for baby of course! I stayed in the hospital and was given 2 liters of IV fluids to rehydrate and Clark was constantly monitored. They let me go late Saturday evening after I was able to keep down a cup of cranberry juice. The next 24 hours were still rocky but we made it through by God's grace and Clark seemed to be unaffected! Thankfully, we have not had any other issues since that weekend. In other news, Clark's stroller and carseat arrived this week! A big thanks to Chris' mom and pop for that one! Time seems to be moving faster as the house is slowly filling with baby items. Come on June!!
Chris is doing great and of course we are still loving our church, students, and Washington in General! We have been blessed with so many great friends. This weekend Chris and I were honored to celebrate the union of two precious friends. He served as the officiator and I had the pleasure of being matron of honor. Taylor and Sonja are such a sweet couple and we are so excited for their marriage!
Please be in prayer for Chris, myself, and the entire student ministry team as we prepare for our annual winter camp next weekend! This is a huge outreach event in which we take the kids away for the long weekend and spend quality time together and in God's word. Thanks for keeping up with our growing family and for the outpouring of prayers and support as we tackle this pregnancy and upcoming life change!
