Well not a ton has happened since the last post, but let me update you on what has changed! Chris' new admin started last Wednesday! Such a blessing to have a complete team again. Her name is Darcy, and she will be a huge asset to the team. She came along just in time for preparations for winter camp! We will be taking the high school group to Bellingham (about 2 hours north) for winter camp. It will be a four day trip with one day dedicated to skiing, snowboarding, and sledding. Unfortunately I don't get to stay for the whole trip because of work, but I will get to enjoy half of it! My job is still going well.. My manager recently got a promotion so the my shifts will increase in number and length for a little while until she is replaced. Chris and I were both able to take a few days off last week and head to a B&B in downtown Seattle. It was a quaint little Victorian house in the heart of the city! We also took our first trip to Dick's burgers (a Seattle drive up super cheap burger joint) and loved it! 12 bucks for 3 burgers, 2 fries, 2 drinks, and a milk shake! Wow! Lewis is getting more and more mischievous by the day but I think that keeps things interesting :). Please keep Chris and the ASM team in your prayers as they prepare for winter retreat and please pray for me during this transition period at work! More to come...

Happy New Year
Happy New Year all! We had a fantastic holiday and hope you did as well! Many of you know that we flew home for Christmas. We were able to spend 5 days with each side of our family. The first half was spent in Lufkin with Chris' side, and the second half was split between Shreveport and Dallas with my side of the fam! We ate LOTS of good food, home cooked and some favortie restutants that arnt in the Seattle area. We had a white Christmas!! It began snowing the evening of Christmas and the ground was all white by the next morning. Before heading back home, we had the pleasure of sharing a meal with some close friends. We are looking forward to our next trip home. When we arrived back in Seattle, Chris and I were blessed to have a few more days off for a little R&R. Lewis was glad to have us back around the house. For New Years eve, Chris took me to downtown Bellevue to eat at the Cheesecake factory and watch the show of fake snow and men dressed up like nutcrackers playing the drums. We were both asleep well before midnight... first sign of getting older! At this point, everything is back in full swing. We did have a little time today for a spontaneous trip to the Seattle aquarium though! Thanks for staying connected with us and thank you for the many Christmas cards we received! You are daily a blessing and encouragement to us. More updates to come...
